Corey graduated Cum Laude from Barry University with a bachelor’s degree in business and began his Financial Planning career with IDS Financial Services in 1990 and became a Certified Financial Planner™ in 1994. Forming his own independent financial planning firm in 1993 his company has become what is now Uhler and Vertich Financial Planners. Beginning in 2020, Corey has become recognized in the Forbes ranking of Best-In-State Wealth Advisors.
Corey and his team offer a comprehensive and high touch approach to their clients’ financial planning. Placing a high emphasis on working closely with the other professionals on his clients’ Expert Team, he has worked closely with many of the members of the Estate Planning Council. He believes that the best solutions to his clients’ needs come from the input of all their professional advisors.
In addition to his profession, Corey is a tireless advocate for the United Way, Southwest Florida Symphony, and Boy Scouts of America. For fun he loves to spend time hiking in the woods around his new second home in North Carolina with his partner, Shelli and their two dogs. In Florida, he enjoys boating, biking, gardening, and of course anything to do with wine and good food.
