Our speaker for this timely topic is Carrie Kerskie, Director, Identity Fraud Institute Hodges University; and Author of "Your Public Identity; Because Nothing is Private Anymore."

Carrie is a highly sought-after national speaker, trainer, author and consultant on the topics of identity theft, fraud and data privacy.  She has been quoted in numerous publications such as Real Simple magazine and TechRepublic.com; and appears regularly on NBC-2, ABC-7, Fox 4, NPR and WINK News.

In 2014, Congressman Diaz-Balart lauded Carrie in the Congressional Record for her work on identity theft.  In 2015, Carrie was the driving force behind strengthening Florida’s identity theft laws including making business identity theft a crime in the state.  In 2017, the Collier Citizens Council presented Carrie with the inaugural Murray Hendel Civic Achievement award, which honors individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the community.
