Many times, when a Divorce is filed, the divorcing spouses do not consider their estate planning decision making. Estate planners should get involved early so that divorcing spouses understand what will happen to their assets under their existing plan and how to fulfill their estate planning wishes when the divorce is final. This presentation will discuss how Divorce attorneys and Estate Planning professionals should work together for the benefit of the divorcing family.  Keith will address

  • Handling of Insurance & Retirement Plans in a Divorce
  • Estate Planning decisions during the Divorce
  • Carrying out Estate Planning decisions after the Divorce
