Heckerling Update (Note: This is on the FOURTH Thursday)
Greg Blurton, our newly elected 2nd Vice President, attended this year's Heckerling Institute, and graciously agreed to take copious notes and share with us a condensed summary thereof.

Greg Blurton serves as Vice President of Development & Strategy at Investors’ Security Trust where he oversees the Company’s strategic planning process and direction and all corporate/business development initiatives. He also educates and advises clients on the wide range of trust, estate and investment solutions available to develop and execute a comprehensive wealth management strategy. Prior to joining the company, Greg helped establish and build a local community bank’s presence in Lee County, overseeing its lending and branch deposit operations. He also served in the United States Air Force.
Greg serves as the Board Treasurer for the Foundation for Lee County Public Schools and is a Mentor to a 10th grade student at Gateway Charter School as part of the Take Stock In Children program; he also is a Board Member for Habitat for Humanity of Lee and Hendry Counties, Fort Myers South Rotary Club, Estate Planning Council of Lee County and the Southwest Florida Museum of History; member of the President’s Council and AMVEF Cabinet at Hodges University; member of the American Heart Association’s Go Red Executive Leadership Team as its Open Your Heart Chair; and Asst. Coach of the Estero High School Boys Lacrosse Team.
Greg is a graduate of the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking at the University of Pennsylvania and has a B.S. in Business Management from Hodges University.
