Captive Insurance
The Topic: This is an overview of the use of captive strategies that may be employed when advising an existing or prospective client. The topics covered include a review of the history of the captive insurance industry; an analysis of the legislative and legal history; and instruction on the Formation, operation and exit strategies for a variety of captive structures that may be available to clients.

Our Speaker: Mr. Brown is an an Estate Planner and Business Wealth Specialist for Key Private Bank’s national estate planning group. He holds a BA in finance, an MA in international management, a JD, and a master of laws in taxation from the University of Denver. He is a past president of the Centennial Estate Planning Council and sits on advisory boards to Colorado Public Radio and the Denver Foundation. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and the National Center for Employee Ownership.
